Here is how this works in practice. We produce detailed cost guesses that give shoots a realistic financial picture before they commit to shooting in Poland. Our team breaks the project into the standard budget types — crew, cast, locations, gear, transport, lodging, catering and post — and prices each line against today's Polish market rates. We draw on local supplier relationships across Warsaw, Kraków, Łódź and the regions to keep guesses grounded rather than generic, and we flag where seasonal factors, regional distances or studio openings will move the numbers.

Guesses are built in złoty with VAT treated correctly. We model the cash-flow timing a production needs to plan funding. As a brief firms up, we refine the guess so it can carry into a working budget without surprises.

Here is the short of it. Accurate cost estimation in Poland depends on knowing the rebates landscape. The 30% cash rebates administered by the Polish Film Institute (PISF) applies to qualifying Polish spend. The country's roughly sixteen regional film funds — among them the Silesia Film Fund. The Lower Silesia fund based in Wrocław — can stack on top, materially changing a project's net cost. We model these in the guess so producers see both gross and post-rebates figures.
