Here is the short of it. Our team treats each shoot as a single RF environment: rather than letting departments specify wireless in isolation, we run a survey of the location, design an integrated solution covering audio, video and control, and allocate logged frequencies so microphones, IEMs, wireless video and follow-focus systems all coexist. On large multi-department shoots this full planning is what keeps dozens of channels stable. Because hire from Polish vendors counts as qualifying spend toward the rebates, building the wireless package locally is budget-efficient. Any pro RF hardware not held in-country moves freely by road from Germany or the Czech Republic, since Poland is in the EU single market and Schengen with no carnet for intra-EU transport.

Here is the breakdown. All production wireless operates within range covered by the Office of Electronic Communications (Urząd Komunikacji Elektronicznej / UKE). This administers radio-frequency allocation for wireless microphones, IFB, comms and video links on EU-harmonised UHF bands. Our team works only within legal frequencies and can advise on sign-ups needs for higher-power systems. RF running is most demanding on congested urban shoots near the Warsaw skyline or the Palace of Culture and Science.

Here is what that looks like on the ground. Where a production also flies drones, those operations fall under the Polish Civil Aviation Authority (Urząd Lotnictwa Cywilnego / ULC) and EU/EASA rules, and we set up drone control links against ground wireless. Productions arriving from outside the EU clear imported wireless hardware on ATA Carnets through the National Revenue Administration (Krajowa Administracja Skarbowa), with Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) as the main air-cargo gateway. Billing is in Polish złoty (PLN) with 23% VAT. Poland's cold, snowy winters mean careful battery running for wireless gear on exterior sets in the Tatra Mountains and at Gdańsk.
