Any pro link hardware not held in-country moves freely by road from Germany or the Czech Republic, since Poland is in the EU single market and Schengen with no carnet for intra-EU transport.

Here is the breakdown. Wireless comms operate on UHF range covered by UKE. This administers radio-frequency allocation for wireless microphones, IFB, intercom and video links on EU-harmonised bands. Our team confirms clear, legal frequencies for each shoot location, a step that matters most in dense urban environments such as the Warsaw skyline or the Palace of Culture and Science where range congestion is highest.

Here is what that looks like on the ground. Where a production combines comms with drone operations, drone flights fall under the Polish Civil Aviation Authority (Urząd Lotnictwa Cywilnego / ULC) and EU/EASA rules, and we set up the two so radio traffic does not interfere. Productions arriving from outside the EU clear imported comms hardware on ATA Carnets through the National Revenue Administration (Krajowa Administracja Skarbowa), with Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) as the main air-cargo gateway. Billing is in Polish złoty (PLN) with 23% VAT. Poland's cold, snowy winters mean we manage battery performance with care when comms units are used on exterior sets in the Tatra Mountains or along the Baltic coast.
