SCENE 01 / POWER SOLUTIONS
Power Solutions
Professional production power for your Polish production.
Here is how this works in practice. Power solutions for film production cover portable power packs, battery systems, solar rigs, and hybrid setups that deliver reliable electricity in any location. Choosing the right power way depends on load needs, noise restrictions, site-level considerations, and the logistical constraints of each shooting environment.
Here is the short of it. We check your production's power needs and source appropriate solutions from local providers, whether that means quiet power packs for dialogue scenes, high-capacity units for large lighting setups, or battery systems for remote locations. Our team manages delivery, fueling, and tech support across your shoot.

On Location
Production power — generators, battery systems, hybrid rigs and on-set distribution — is sourced from the rental houses of Warsaw and Łódź and built around Poland's EU-standard 230V/50Hz mains.
Here is how this works in practice. We source production power options from the rental houses concentrated in Warsaw and in Łódź, where electrical inventory has grown since the Polish Film Institute introduced its 30% PISF cash rebates in 2019. Our team assesses each production's load and designs the right way: super-silent power packs for dialogue-heavy scenes, high-capacity units up to 500kW for large lighting setups, battery and hybrid systems for remote or sound-sensitive work, and V-mount and gold-mount battery packages for cameras and extras.
Here is the short of it. We set up power packs delivery, fuelling, distribution and tech support across the shoot, and arrange building tie-ins with licensed Polish electricians where studio or location infrastructure allows. Poland's mains run at the EU-standard 230V/50Hz, which we build into each plan. Because hire from Polish vendors counts as qualifying spend toward the 30% rebates, sourcing power locally keeps the budget efficient. Any pro power kit not held in-country moves freely by road from Germany or the Czech Republic, since Poland is in the EU single market and Schengen with no carnet for intra-EU transport.
Here is the breakdown. Powering remote locations is a core part of our work in Poland, from exteriors in the Tatra Mountains to coastal shoots around Gdańsk on the Baltic, where we plan power packs delivery, fuel supply and multi-day operation for sets without convenient grid access. Poland's temperate continental climate shapes power logistics: cold, snowy winters affect power packs starting and fuel handling, and our crews manage cold-weather operation and protect battery systems whose capacity drops at low temperatures.
Here is what that looks like on the ground. At heritage locations — the reconstructed Old Town of Warsaw, the preserved core of Kraków — we set up quiet, low-impact power that respects venue and preservation needs. Productions arriving from outside the EU clear imported power hardware on ATA Carnets through the National Revenue Administration (Krajowa Administracja Skarbowa), with Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) as the main air-cargo gateway. Billing is in Polish złoty (PLN) — Poland is an EU member but not in the Eurozone — and gear hire carries 23% VAT.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What size generators do you provide?
We supply power packs from small 20kW portable units to large 500kW tow-behind power packs. Most narrative shoots use power packs in the 60-150kW range, based on lighting needs. We can calculate the right size for your needs.
Are your generators suitable for film sets?
Yes, we give super-silent power packs designed for film production. These units are baffled and housed to cut noise, allowing them to be positioned closer to set without interfering with sound recording.
Can you coordinate tie-ins?
Yes, we can set up building tie-ins where appropriate and permitted. Tie-ins can be more economical for studio work or locations with enough electrical infrastructure. Our team handles all planning with building management.
What battery systems do you offer?
We stock V-mount and Gold mount batteries from Anton Bauer, IDX, and others for cinema cameras and accessories. We also give block batteries for larger gear and complete charging solutions for multi-camera shoots.
Do you provide electricians?
Yes, we work with qualified Polish electricians skilled in film production. Having local electrical crew makes sure compliance with Poland rules and efficient, safe power distribution.
What about remote locations?
We can power shoots in remote locations across Poland. This has setting up power packs delivery, fuel supply, and tech support for locations without convenient grid access.
