Productions using commercial recordings, library music or commissioned scores need their usage cleared and reported correctly, and Poland's EU membership means clearances sit within the wider European copyright framework. The public TV networks TVP and Polish archives hold major footage that documentary and historical shoots often draw on, each with its own licensing terms.
