Production Scheduling

Here is how this works in practice. We prepare shoot schedules for projects shooting in Poland, turning a script breakdown into a workable shooting plan. Our team sequences scenes by location, cast openings, set construction and the practical logistics of moving a unit, then builds a day-by-day schedule that the whole production can work to. Scheduling accounts for the distances between Polish regions, the openings of studios and key locations, and the turnaround and late hours rules of the Polish Labour Code. We build in backup for weather and for the realities of a live shoot. We keep the schedule as a live document, reissuing it cleanly when circumstances change so each department stays aligned.

Here is the short of it. Scheduling in Poland has to respect the climate. The country has a temperate continental climate with four distinct seasons — cold, snowy winters and warm summers — and daylight differs sharply across the year. This directly affects how many usable hours a shoot day gives, above all in winter. A snow-dependent scene or a Tatra Mountains location is scheduled around the season. A summer exterior plans for long days but possible storms. Studio work at ATM Studio in Warsaw or Alvernia Studios near Kraków gives a schedule weather-independent anchors.
